As a nanny I cared for 1 child from the time he was 2 months old until he was 3 years old. I prepared meals and fed him. I bathed him, put him to sleep, and engaged in play with him. I also took him for walks and to the zoo. I cared for him when he was sick and administered medication when needed. As a preschool teacher I co-taught classes of 13-24 children ranging in age from 3-5 years. I created lesson plans and curriculum aids. I taught in large and small groups and prepared the classroom for free-play. I taught curriculum themes, songs, and games. As a toddler teacher I taught a class of 5-7 children ranging in age from 16 months to 2 years. I planned and taught lessons to help children reach goals and developmental milestones. I collaborated with parents through parent-teacher conferences and goal setting. I created portfolios to track development. I taught the children through music, play, and outdoor experiences. I also aided in potty-training.
