Hi, my name is Stephanie, I have been doing payed jobs for seniors for 7 years and volunteering in nursing homes and Hospice for a couple of years before that. I see the soul not the disease or disability in the people I care for. I believe we all have a purpose and I love bringing that out in the elderly. I'm looking for someone who needs any of the following - companionship, support or help in performing tasks, changing, basic washing up, light housekeeping, animal care, medication reminders, making simple meals, and feeding. I have experience with dementia and Alzheimer's. I have personal experience being the primary caregiver to my mother and supporting my grandparents and great aunt and uncle during illness and their dying process. Before I entered senior care I was a Personal Fitness Trainer, Clinical Massage Therapist, Physical Therapy Aid and long ago a Tennis Instructor. Let's see if we are a fit and I could bring some ease to this stage of life for the whole family.
