I'd describe my personality as easy-going, friendly, responsible. I like working with animals because of the genuine sense of connection. I am high-functioning autistic. It does not impede my intellect (nor pet-caring ability), but it can be difficult for me to connect with people emotionally. Animals, I connect to quite easily. I'm looking for a job that provides a safe, healthy place for myself and the pets. I want to actively engage. I may even be able to teach new tricks (I'm a bit rusty). I started working with animals many years ago. As an adult, I've almost always had a canine companion. In my spare time, I like to read, write, learn new things. And TV. One thing you should know about me is I have integrity; I believe in the virtues of honesty, fairness, and compassion. My skills include cuddling, playing, and patience.
