Hi there! I'm Summer and I've lived in Maplewood my entire life! I am currently finishing up my last semester at Rutgers Univeristy as a history major and education minor. After this semester I will be continuing my education with the Rutgers Graduate School of Education to receive my masters degree in Special Education and K-6 Certification. I've always loved working with children of all ages and I've been babysitting for the past 9 years. In more recent years I've been babysitting my nieces (ages 3 and newborn) and nephew (age 6) so I'm very use to energetic behavior! In the past 3 Summers I have worked as a classroom aide for an extended school year program for students with special needs in Morristown. It was a very rewarding job and part of the reason I am attempting to receive a masters in Special Ed.
