For as long as I can remember I have had a passion for working with kids! Beginning in middle school, I was very involved in the special needs program at my school where I was given the opportunity to learn a lot about communication with kids as well as patience. For the last two summers I have worked at a summer day camp in my hometown with kids between the ages of 5 and 12. At this job I was responsible for keeping my group of 13-15 kids active and involved. From arts and crafts to kickball games and swimming lessons, I was able to not only grow my passion for working with children, but also become a role model for them.
