About Sydney

Hi! My name is Sydney. I am 23 years old and passionate about people and animals. I hold a bachelors degree from Randolph Macon College, and I changed career paths and am now a student RN. I have a year of experience on the neuroscience ICU at a Bon Secours facility as a patient care technician (CNA) and will work as a CNA until I have my bachelors of science in nursing in 2025! Originally, prior to realizing my love for working in healthcare, I had hopes to be a kindergarten teacher or work with children with learning disabilities. So, my first degree is in psychology and elementary education. In addition to my college experiences, I have babysat and pet-sat throughout high school and to the date, so I have 10 years of experience with animals and children. I would love to expand on my past experiences if they are of interest. I am looking for an opportunity to use my strengths to help out families and support myself until I am an RN.
