I have a strong passion for caring for children and watching them learn and grow. I have been babysitting for more than 10 years for children as young as 1-week-old infants to 13-year-olds. I've cared for as many as 4 children at once on a regular basis. I am a tutor as well and was going to school to be an elementary teacher with a major in mathematics. So I am available for homework help as well. I am also prepared to take care of any housework that you may need help with beyond making sure I or the children clean up any messes created during the time you are out of the house. I am also a pretty good cook and can cover dinners if needed. I am working on getting re-certified for CPR and first aid again but am no longer certified at the moment. When I have free time I'm usually trying to fit in a social life or visiting family and my nieces and nephews. I also enjoy going for walks and doing projects.

Sylina has been truly a blessing! I had to return to work when my newborn was just two weeks old and beyond taking care of my other three children, she was amazing with my little one! It says something when your children are excited that they get to see her and when you put your newborn baby in her arms, he smiles and then peacefully falls asleep. Sylina has been so dependable and punctual, that I never feel stress about making it to work! I feel that Sylina has the ability to handle all that comes with taking care of children; the good, the bad and all the chaos :-)
