About Tahna

My name is Tahna and I was born and raised in Kodiak, Alaska where my child care journey began. I babysat for several families, was a swim coach, and worked in special education class rooms. I then moved to Hawaii where I attended the University of Hawaii and swam on the women's swim team, taught swim lessons, and babysat for a few families. Following that, I traveled around Asia for a year where I explored, volunteered, and taught English. I am currently living in Bellingham pursing my masters degree. I have a wide range of experience working with children. I have done everything from watching kids while parents are out of town to simply watching kids while the parents are at home trying to get work done. I have done after school care and homework help. I have worked with a wide range of ages and abilities from newborns, non-potty trained (or in the learning process), non verbal and down syndrome. I am easy going, punctual, and can help out with whatever it is you need done.
