I have 6 years of Spanish tutoring experience and received my CRLA certification in 2016. I have studied Spanish starting in 1st grade all the way through college. My passion for the language blossomed from Selena Quintanilla. I loved her music so much that I had to learn what she was singing about. I have studied abroad 3 months in Colombia, one month in Guatemala, and 6 months in Ecuador. I then moved to Ecuador for 3 years where I met and married my husband. I enjoy helping people to deepen their understanding of the language in a fun way. I find it important to blend the classroom Spanish of grammar and rules with the knowledge of living abroad and how the language is used on a daily basis.
