I have a great sense of humor and I have the gift of relating to people of all ages. I have 6 years of schooling past high school. I am a very dependable, patient, empathetic person. I love people and I always find the good! I really love taking care of kids as I learn from them just as they do from me. I have 2 successful, well-educated, and well-rounded girls. They both modeled in print ads, runways and acted in theater, TV & Radio Commercials, and short films. I worked in the medical field for years, was a Preschool Assistant Teacher, also a K-8th Substitute Teacher and an Entrepreneur. When I care for children, I teach through play called Piagets Learning Development. I get my love for teaching and education as my mother was a teacher at Cranbrook Schools and my father was in higher education all of his life. I love to read, self-educate and research anything. I have written one Children's Book and my daughter illustrated it for me. It is with a publisher now. I have a Shih-Poo.

Tanya lights up the room as soon as she walks in and our mom would smile every time she would see her. We were all so blessed to have Tanya as our mom’s caregiver. Her genuine kindness, compassion and sincerity was very apparent. Tanya’s empathy showed in her ability to understand the feelings and needs of our mom every single day, and mom’s needs were different every single day having severe Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. Tanya is compassionate, understanding, patient, reliable, dependable, and above all else adaptable for any situation that may occur. We are all grateful our mom had the best care right until the end. We can’t thank her enough and our forever grateful. We highly recommend her, she is EXCELLENT!
