About Tanya

Hi! I am a very positive, patient, and reliable person with 15+ years of experience as a nanny and mother, caring for children from infants to teenagers. In addition to childcare, I'm happy to do other tasks such as cooking/meal prep and laundry, if requested. I especially love caring for babies, from infants to toddlers, creating a loving, safe, nurturing environment for them. With my extensive background in French (B. A. and M. A. in French language and literature, years teaching and tutoring, plus living and working abroad), I can also provide early exposure to this beautiful language. It's never too early to start! After a career in higher ed, finding work as a nanny to be incredibly fulfilling, I'm looking to continue nannying, ideally on a full-time basis. I look forward to sharing my warmth and "joie de vivre" with more families and children in the Jackson area.
