About Tashauna

I've always had a passion for working with people, helping them, and showing them care. As a loving, caring, and nurturing mother of five children and the oldest of five siblings myself, I have an abundance of experience caring for children. I have 12 years of experience working as a childcare provider, and I'm certified in both CPR and first aid. I also have my 40 required hours for childcare through DCF and am currently working towards my FCCP, CDA, and Director certifications. I'm patient, calm, friendly, and approachable, and I communicate regularly with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. I follow the parents' preferred communication method, whether that's written daily reports or regular updates via text or phone call. I'm also very comfortable enforcing household rules. I enjoy playing board games, puzzles, and educational games that promote learning with children.
