About Tasman

I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Writing and a focus in Chinese language. I went on to spend a year teaching English in China to ages ranging from 3 years old to nearly 17! It taught me so much about education, childcare, and curriculum design. Upon my return home, I've been working in Early Childhood Education with children 1-3 years old. I've truly found my passion in working with young people to discover and develop their natural independence, curiosity and compassion for life. I love doing art projects, fostering independent play, reading, exploring nature, trying new foods, and working with children on their language skills. I have knowledge of English and Mandarin language development milestones, and am happy to help with introducing a second language into your home. I am available for recurring care or occasional care on date nights or the like, and comfortable managing up to 3 children depending on ages. Best!
