My family moved to San Diego 4 years ago. We absolutely love it here. A bit about me: I've always been public safety oriented. I was a Marine, a volunteer firefighter, & up until recently I was a dispatcher for police & fire. I've had the great opportunity of teaching English to children in South Korea & loved every minute of it. I've been in children's ministry for over 12 years & continue to do so out here. I am involved with the African refugee community as far as deciphering County paperwork, collecting donations for them, & periodically helping with rides to various appointments. With 4 children of my own, I understand the importance of supporting families as they navigate life.
