My top three childcare skills are patience, creativity, and effective communication. I've learned patience from my younger siblings, which helps me stay calm and understanding. I love using creativity to help children grow through fun, educational activities. Effective communication is key; I listen to kids and explain things in a way they understand, building strong, trusting relationships. I'm looking for a job that is upfront about the role and requirements. I value clear communication and mutual respect. Just as I respect their time and effort, I expect the same in return. I appreciate when employers explain specific needs, like allergies, from the start so I can be prepared. I love working with kids because of my younger siblings. Being a role model for them has been fulfilling. In high school, I tutored younger students, and seeing their faces light up when they understood something new made me realize how much I want to keep working with kids and positively impact their lives.
