About Tia

Hi there, my name is Tia and I'm an energetic and creative 24-year-old! I started out in nursing school, but fell into childcare six years ago and love it so much! My favorite age group are toddlers, but I have experience with all ages. I'm looking for a part time position, with a minimum of a one-year commitment, and my rates start at $20/hour for one child. I have worked for 2 families, and a few family friends. I'm CPR certified, have my own car, and have a bachelors degree in psychology. My focus is on giving your child a safe, routine focused, and creative space to learn and grow into a wonderful person. I love doing seasonal crafts, baking, pretend play, encouraging independent time, and special weekly outings when appropriate. I'm firm but kind, and will work with you on any challenges your child may come to. In my personal time I love to cook new dishes, and exercise at the gym. I also love to travel!
