I'm a mom to 2 daughters & have primarily stayed home with them for a large part of the past 16 years. I also have roughly 6 years working in elementary schools; my last position was a Special Education Asst working mostly 1-on-1 with PreK-1st graders. I am comfortable helping with homework or any activities that promote learning. I'm a creative person, so I love playing games & creating art with children that spark their curiosity and imagination. I believe in open communication with parents and use their preferred method to provide regular updates about their child's day & I follow the parents' lead when enforcing household rules. I would love to find a family that is open to me bringing my 6 yr old when she's not in school or various activities; she's a very social child & I'm sure she would get along well with your child!
