About Tuija

I started as a personal carer in 2008 in Finland. Later I attended a college and qualified as a Licensed Practical Nurse. After one year working in a council owned nursing home, I returned to the UK, where I worked in a neurological unit, where the patients were suffering from complex disorders. I am familiar with community ventilators, EPAP & CPAP machines, tracheostomies, deep suctioning, stomas, catheters, PEG feeding, blood sugar monitoring incl. insulin injections, some wound care etc. I moved to the US in September 2021 to care for my newly born grandson. For the past 5 months I have looked after another child. I would now like to return back to working with mature people needing home care. I am reliable, trustworthy and flexible. However, I am not able to work nights.
