About Valeria

Hello, my name is Valeria, I have a passion for learning and teaching! I have been a mentor, a tutor, a caregiver at various daycare centers, and a counselor for children of various ages. I enjoy learning from children and being a positive role model. I have a minor in Education and English as well as a bachelor's in Social Work. I am sensitive and attuned to students' emotional needs. Some of my experiences range from working with second and eighth-grade students guiding them through writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading in the classroom environment. My goal is to assess what the student's needs are in terms of skills, instruction, or organization.
