About Valerie

I am passionate about assisting seniors and believe helping maintain their independence allows them to retain their dignity and self-esteem while often feeling more productive. I respect the wealth of knowledge seniors have to offer and truly enjoy hearing their stories. I have spent the past year and a half working with a gentleman who suffered from Lewy Body dementia and the previous two years helping a woman with Alzheimer from her early onset to assisted living. Prior to that, I volunteered for a variety of nonprofit organizations, while staying at home to raise my 2 daughters. I also, had the privilege of assisting my mother throughout her terminal battle with cancer. If you or your loved one is in need of companionship, outings, exercise, assistance with daily tasks, meal preparation, transportation, errands, light housework, gardening, paperwork or simply crafting and stimulating conversation, these are all tasks I enjoy doing. Flexible Mon-Fri up to 20/hrs. week
