Violet came to our home to meet our family and was hired to be our 3 boys summer sitter. 2 weeks before she was supposed to start, she ghosted us and blocked my phone number. My boys were disappointed as was I because they were looking forward to spending the summer with her. It was rude and immature and if she didn't want the job or ended up doing something else, common courtesy would be to reach out and say so vs. leaving me in a bind to then figure out a summer sitter last minute.
