About Wendy

I'd describe my personality as friendly, caring, loyal I like caring for seniors because I value the life experience of a senior person. It is a privilege to care for and assist someone at this stage of their lives. I'm looking for a job that allows me to use my skills to assist a person in their home to allow them to live as independently as possible. I started caring for seniors as a certified nursing assistant back in 1996. I furthered my education as an occupational therapy assistant and graduated in 1998. I have since cared for the senior population in home care, adult day and at skilled nursing facilities. Most recently, I was in private care working with a late stage dementia patient. In my spare time, I like to spending time with my family, gardening, walking, home renovation projects. One thing you should know about me is I am an honest, dedicated person that treats my clients/patients as I would my own family members. My skills include compassion, patience, dedication
