About Yolanda

I am trained to assist with all basic activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, moving from one place to another, and toileting. I can check vital signs such as blood pressure, respiration and pulse, monitor a client's physical and mental condition; level of exercise; and how much they are eating, drinking. As a Direct Support Provider some of my higher level skills are as follows. I have experience with emptying and cleaning catheters, suprapubic catheters, tracheotomy cleaning and care, c paps cleaning, bed baths, bed and wheel chair transferring. I also have had sapphire training on dementia and memory care. I'm good at redirecting. This works is my passion. I genuinely care and want to help others. I would go as far as to say this work is my God given mission; to do all I can to help, with caring love.
