I am an experienced Mandarin Chinese teacher. I have language teaching degree from Harbin Normal University and have completed 52 units of college level Child Development and Liberal Arts classes in the US. I completed AP Chinese teacher's training through college board in 2014. Most of my students are from non-Chinese speaking families. I incorporate fun activities with age-appropriate children's literature in the process of teaching. For beginners, we sing a lot together. For school age children, I use fun methods to make difficult curriculum painless. I am careful at selecting teaching materials and am observant of children's needs. I monitor children's progress and work closely with parents. "They thoroughly enjoy their time with you," say the parents. I was a working parent in the arts, crafts and science committee at a nursery school. I love children and enjoy working in detail with them.
