It's time to let your creativity run wild in this week's Alexander Calder project. Famous for his kinetic abstract sculptures, Calder changed the game by introducing mobility to fine art. Students will mimic this adjustable art by incorporating various movable parts to wire and clay sculptures, challenging their concept of balance and design. Perfect class for children ages 7-9 years old. 90-min class We will use a variety of media, including watercolor, acrylic & tempera paints, oil pastels, mixed media, and clay for our intermediate classes throughout the school-year! Advanced Art Open Studio Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM This open studio class is designed for advanced art students who are ready to take creative control. The Kids' Digital Art class at The Atelier School of Art is a one-hour session designed for ages 8 and up, introducing young artists to the world of digital drawing and painting using iPads and Procreate.
