Spring Semester (Mid March-May) This class is recommended for ages 12+ who have a basic knowledge of drawing, anime, and some experience with digital art. RESERVATIONS MUST BE MADE AT LEAST 3 HOURS IN ADVANCE (this class will not be visible after that time) as materials must be prepared in advance. There is a $5 supply fee if you do not cancel your reservation at least 1 hour in advance and do not attend class. This is especially enforced if there is a full class. Focusing on composition, color theory, and values, this class allows students to experiment with various medium techniques, including clay, watercolor, mixed media, acrylic, and tempera. 60 minutes. Ages 4-6. THIS WEEK: This week we’re traveling to the seaside for this glorious landscape painting. With a focus on color and texture, students will discover various ways to imply depth in their art. Studying the characteristics of foreground and background, we will challenge their color mixing skills as they learn about atmospheric perspective. Dress for a mess!
