Hi-Five Hoops League Basketball – Important Details Game Times: 4:00-4:50 PM or 5:00-5:50 PM, they rotate each week and your will get a schedule Locations: The Berto Center & Hi-Five Sports Zone Hi-Five Hoops League Basketball focuses on fundamental skills, teamwork, sportsmanship, and hard work—all in a fun, fast-paced environment! This league is perfect for boys and girls in Kindergarten through 4th grade who want to learn the game the right way while having a blast on the court. They’ll also be given the chance to discover what goes on “behind the scenes” with process art projects that introduce them to theatrical elements such as costumes, props, and sets. Don’t worry – it’s not all work and no play here at Stages! We take advantage of the fun and freedom of summer, ensuring campers have time outside each day as well as free play (and rest). Rebel Art Summer Camps are full of exploration, creative excitement, and just plain fun! Much like our teen school year classes, we will offer the flexibility of having planned projects for those who don't necessarily have a clear idea of what to create, as well as more of an open studio for those who are ready to dive into all those projects in their heads (with the guidance of our teachers). We offer everything from drawing, painting, collage, mixed media, printmaking to sculpture. Please note that due to time constraints, we do not offer ceramics in this program during summer camps (please check out our Rebel Ceramics program if interested in working with ceramics). We break up the week by hosting camp in different locations. Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays are hosted at the studio at 1444 South Main st., and Tuesdays/Thursdays we meet at local parks. This unique opportunity is only offered during summer camps and is incredibly special as it allows campers to experience working in plein air (from life outside) as well as in the studio for a complete art experience. Please note that we keep a close watch on the weather and air quality and will relocate to the studio if it will be too hot or poor air.

Alice is so excited to offer a Concert style class this Summer at Casey Jones' Village! Mars Presents: Music with Alice, a 30 minute family music class, is for 0-5 year olds along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together! Due to the generosity of Mars, these classes are ABSOLUTELY FREE! We will be inside at the Train Museum! Please bring a blanket to sit on and an instrument for your little one to play if they have one! These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Alice teaches everyone finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs, call and response singing and we end each class with a lullaby to calm the children for the next part of their day. These classes have a flow that allows quiet soothing and also lots of movement and big fun! Each class is full of simple and enjoyable music from the folk tradition, classics you know and love, and originals written by Alice! These songs are specifically crafted with a wide range of ages in mind (even the adults will love it!) Alice's classes encourage bonding and create one-of-a-kind memories that will last forever afterwards. Each technique is taught through a focused lesson, followed by a project that allows students to practice and apply what they learned.
