Kiddos will meet a Moonlight Join us on the Friday at 3:30pm for a show! Drop off is from 9am - 9:30 and pick up is anytime between 3:30 - 4:00pm. Refund Policy: Please note that we have a no refund policy. Full credits will be issued for anything with a 4 week notice and can be used for any future Rabbit Hole activity. After 4 weeks we are unable to credit. If your child is sick or you need to miss a day of camp we will have a camp bag ready for you at the studio. This bag will be filled with enchanted projects, art materials, audio and video links and anything your kiddo might be missing in class. Join Sing with Emily and Tiny Tunemakers for a 45 minute music and movement class! We'll sing, creatively move, play instruments, improvise, use props, dance, enjoy musical story time and most importantly...have fun!! Feel free to bring a blanket or yoga mat to sit on. Older siblings (6+ years) are welcome to join free of charge. For questions call the studio at (331) 261-5799. Refunds are not offered for these classes, however, we will do our best to provide make up classes when possible. All make ups must be used within the current session. Any exceptions are at the discretion of Sing with Emily staff. **Weekly classes need at least 3 students to run. In the event that not enough students are registered in advance, a class may be cancelled 24 hours before the date of the class. In the event that a class is cancelled, attendees will be notified and the class will be removed from the website for registration.

In Music 2, children will begin to experiment with ways to play musical instruments, accompany a song with rhythm, and act out lyrics through movements using both gross motor and fine motor skills. Children know so much about music at this stage, and are at the beginning stages of being able to express themselves musically! Benefits: Physical: Sensory exploration time is supported while children practice their motor skills, which is crucial for your child’s overall development. Cognitive: Music play helps activate parts of the brain responsible for music and speech processing. It creates an early appreciation of music and supports language development. Social: Through music, you can hear and feel emotions. Tunes can be happy, sad, or angry! This supports social development in understanding emotions in a new way. Adults: You get to engage with your little one making emotional connections and strong bonds. Being involved in your child’s play helps both you feel more connected.

Alice is so excited to offer classes this Winter at Ivey School of Music! Music with Alice, a 40-45 minute family music class, welcomes babies, toddlers and preschoolers along with their parents, grandparents and caregivers to come together every week to sing together! *Siblings under 1 years of age are free! Please just let me know you are bringing them! * **Babies under 1 that come alone MUST register.** These classes are highly engaging to all ages, as Alice teaches everyone finger play activities, hand movements, lap songs, call and response singing and a big jam at the end with shakers and kids instruments.* (*Participants are encouraged to bring their own instruments to class) Each class is full of music from the folk tradition that are so simple with lyrics and movements easy enough for both baby, toddler, and adult to learn. These classes have a flow that allows quiet soothing and also lots of movement and big fun! These classes encourage bonding and create special memories that will last forever after the class. We believe that all children should experience authentic music making which will increase the whole family’s musical confidence and give them a healthy relationship to music at an early age.

Advanced Art Open Studio Thursdays, 4:30 – 6:30 PM This open studio class is designed for advanced art students who are ready to take creative control. Over several sessions, students will choose their own mediums and develop independent projects with the guidance of an experienced instructor. Whether working in drawing, painting, mixed media, or sculpture, students are encouraged to explore personal themes, experiment with materials, and refine their artistic voice. This is a supportive space for focused, self-directed work and constructive feedback.

We are thrilled to announce that Beyond the Bell is a proud recipient of the Calvert County Reinvestment and Repair Fund Grant. Thanks to this support, we are launching a new, 12-week intensive afterschool program hosted at the College of Southern Maryland (Prince Frederick Campus). We are looking for students in Grades 3–8, who would thrive in a high-engagement environment focused on Social Emotional Arts and Athletics Lessons (S.E.A.A.L). This is a perfect fit for students who need: Intensive Mentorship: Small group settings designed to build deep, supportive connections with dedicated mentors. Creative & Physical Expression: A unique curriculum that blends visual arts, digital storytelling, and athletics to keep students engaged. Confidence & Resilience: Using both the arts and sports as a bridge to help students find their voice and build community. Each week, our littlest Broadway fans and caregivers are introduced to exciting new songs, characters, and stories as Broadway Musicals are brought to life by a team of professional teaching artists. Created by a professional performer turned early childhood development specialist, Broadway & Me's unique curriculum is both entertaining and developmentally appropriate. Each class incorporates activities that are designed to support your little one’s physical, cognitive, social-emotional, and language development.

This class is specially designed for babies who are confident sitters and beginning crawlers. We focus on equipment activities designed to develop upper body strength, stability and coordination on a weekly rotation. Parent sharing, parachute time, bubbles and songs add to the fun and learning!

This drawing class is designed for students of all levels of drawing experience, and would like to learn some advanced techniques and explore new mediums. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects.

Join us for our most popular camp from last summer! This magical week is all about the joy of music, movement, and make believe. Our youngest campers will find their rhythm through singing and dancing, while interactive games keep everyone moving and laughing. Our days are filled with imaginative storytelling where costumes, puppets, and props let every child become any character they can dream of. We also dive into crafting and art by painting and drawing. From the art, to dance, to karaoke, there are so many fun ways for your child to "take the stage" and shine! This camp is for incoming junior kindergarten, transitional kindergarten or kindergarten campers. We strive to provide a fun, nurturing and safe learning environment for our youngest campers. Our staff ratio is 8:1 with a maximum of 24 campers per week. All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. There are free choice activities in the morning/afternoon including games and crafts. ***REGISTER BY APRIL 24th to RECEIVE A FREE SUMMER AT SEA CREST T-SHIRT*** Please look out for an email (sent to the email you register with) a week or two prior to the start of camp with more details, including any special days happening that week. Our aftercare at camp runs from 3:00pm-4:00pm the charge is an additional $15 a day, if your child is not picked up by 3:05pm they will automatically be checked into aftercare and we will charge the card on file. Aftercare after a long camp day is definitely a time for decompression and may include board games and/or educational films. We also combine all campers at this time including our JK/TK and K camp. All camps will run contingent upon a certain number of campers signing up. If your camp is cancelled, you will be notified at least 30 days prior. We may also combine the 1st and 2nd grade camps with the 3rd-6th grade camps if there is low enrollment. Cancellation Policy: Registrations canceled at least 30 days prior to the start of camp will receive a full refund. Registrations canceled 15-29 days prior to camp will receive a 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of the start of camp will not be refunded. Please wear sunscreen and bring a jacket daily because we never know what coastal weather will bring. Campers are required to bring a lunch, snack and water bottle daily.

Their movements are coordinated and purposeful as we practice matching lyrics to choreographed movements and explore instrumental and improvisational play.

Teacher-led activities that support strong sensory development and baby’s first exploration of play! Engaging tummy time exercises, songs, and props provide fun for babies and parents alike. Meet parents just like you and learn play activities to do at home. This class is a very special start to your Gymboree Play & Music journey. Adults must wear socks.

Satisfy your curiosity, and experience a fun and thorough introduction to throwing on the potter’s wheel. Learn the skills necessary to throw cylinders, cups, bowls and more in this exciting introduction to throwing fundamentals. Your instructor guides you through the process of throwing, shaping and trimming pots on the wheel. Special handbuilding project and casting will also included. Basic surface decoration and glazing techniques are also demonstrated. This class is designed for students any level experience on the potter’s wheel. Those who have more experience will complete more pieces/ advanced techniques. Those learning will master the basic skills to create wheel thrown pieces. Register for all classes, as we will build on experience of the students. During our last class, we will meet the last 10-15 minutes of class for an Art Show Presentation. Students will showcase their pieces in an art show to guests. Parents- Invite grandparents, friends and family. All pieces go home the last day of class. Such a fun way for students to share what they have learned through process and design. Many projects are “built upon” each class, so that students experience a variety of mediums and take home several projects. Projects are new every session, so sign-up for both June and July sessions. Our Last Class we will have student presentations the last 15 minutes of class. Please bring a bag and some towels, paper to wrap all of your treasures and take home.
