For ages 2.5 to 4.5 years old. 3 Hour Drop-Off Camp Tues, Wed, & Thurs, must be purchased per week and includes all 3 days. This will include Art, Music, STEAM, School Prep, and Play! Small groups of 10 children, taught by our experienced kindergarten teacher and an assistant.

Students will assume the role of a doctor and continue to learn how the body and organs work beyond the Beginner Camp focusing on additional organ systems. Each student receives their own medical kit and supplies. Each child receives a diploma as a graduate of Little Medical School at the completion of the course. Day 1: Wonderful Brain 1. Welcome to Camp Footsteps Adventurers! Footsteps Child Care, in partnership with the City of Belmont Parks and Recreation, is excited to offer nine weeks of summer camp designed specifically for older children and youth entering fourth grade through middle school. This summer, we are thrilled to feature specialized classes provided by Lando, including Advanced LEGO Robotics and Clay Studio Lab. Field Trip: Great America, Santa Clara Special Event: Junior Camp Counselors at Nesbit Farmers Marker & Tasting Day Every day brings something new to discover, learn, and explore—making camp an unforgettable adventure! MONDAY kicks off the week with team-building activities that help campers connect and collaborate, plus Advanced LEGO Robotics (10am-12pm), where they will choose a robotics challenge, plan their build, and test it with real data. Using LEGO® bricks and Technic components (beams, axles, gears, motors, and sensors), they will tune for speed, lift, or control, log test results, and present how each modification improved their design. In the afternoon campers can participate in a group cooking project. TUESDAY features morning hikes through local trails followed by recreational swimming at the Carlmont High School pool. WEDNESDAY is field trip day, with exciting excursions designed for adventure and exploration. Campers will experience thrilling attractions, water activities, outdoor adventures, and even an overnight camping experience! Each trip offers opportunities to build friendships, try new activities, and create unforgettable summer memories. THURSDAY offers flexible morning time for activities and games, along with a trip to the Belmont Library, followed by recreational swim time in the afternoon. FRIDAY wraps up each week with special events, community service projects, or Counselors-In-Training opportunities. From 2pm to 4pm, campers can also join Clay Studio Lab, where they will create gallery-ready, multi-module scenes using internal armatures, balanced bases, and clean joins. They will refine their work with cohesive color palettes and textures while explaining how their design choices enhanced structural integrity and visual clarity.

This 2 hr. drop off class encourages curiosity and build self-confidence in your preschooler through art, science exploration, play and more. Teachers also read children's books that explore and nurture key social and emotional skills, engage in activities that require cooperation.

Your Camper will spend half the day in Marine Science Camp: Campers will have the opportunity to utilize our amazing Marine Science Lab with our Marine Science Teacher Ms.Dickey. We will explore the wonders of the marine environment and celebrate habitats and life of the ocean, and our shores. Whether they are new to marine science, or passionate oceanographers at heart, students will take part in creative and hands-on activities, projects, and play that inspire learning and a greater appreciation for ocean stewardship. The other half of their day will be spent in Ninja Warrior Training Camp: Get ready to run, jump, climb, tip toe, skip and battle your way through various challenges, activities, relays and obstacles. Each day there is a focus on one of the many social emotional, and/or physical skills to have the heart, body and mind of a ninja warrior. Daily they train to complete tasks and sharpen skills! All of the camps come together for lunch, recess breaks, and special events. Every Sunday, our studio will open its doors to young children and their caregivers for a relaxed, multiple hands-on experience designed for open-ended exploration and creativity. A multi-disciplinary class designed to introduce your child to engineering, design, art, and math. This S.T.E.A.M. inspired class is great for the young maker and thinker. It takes an active approach to school readiness and maintains our whole-child learning philosophy.

This is our S.T.E.M. program that allows children to use their scientific thinking to create their own conclusions about the theme presented in a play-based exploration. Drop-off S.T.E.M. PlayLab is for children developmental ages 3-6. This registration is for an 8-week session. Child may register for Sunday 10:30-11:15 Drop-off Art and 11:15-12:00 Drop-off S.T.E.M. PlayLab to have a combined 1.5 hour drop-off time with one class moving directly to the next.
