About Alana

I'd describe my personality as patient, bubbly, empathetic I love to care for seniors because there is so much that I can learn from them. I love to listen to the stories that shaped their life, their careers, marriages and their families. I'm looking for a job where I can provide companionship to a senior and do what I can to enrich their every day life. I started caring for seniors when I was 21 years old. In my spare time, I love to be at church, spend time with my husband, and our daughter, my extended family, and I love to work in the garden. One thing you should know about me is I am very patient, I am very familiar and experienced with dementia and memory loss, so that is not something that intimidates me. I am outgoing, but also love to be a homebody. I love to be in the kitchen and the garden. My Catholic faith is very important to be and has truly shaped who I am. My skills include patience, empathy and emotional intelligence.
