About Allie

Hi I'm Allie! I'm 22 and a junior at WVU, pursuing my degree in social work with an emphasis in child welfare. When working with children, I believe in prioritizing fun, creativity, and learning. Fostering an environment where laughter and education coexist enriches their experiences and plants a seed for a lifelong enthusiasm for knowledge! My experiences include working at Shanny the Nanny's Early Learning Center, various babysitting gigs, and being an aunt to my nieces and nephew! In my most recent babysitting job, I watched a daughter (9) and son (6). We spent our time making Rainbow Looms, tackling homework and doing karaoke! At Shanny the Nanny's I was able to work with newborns to age 8. I assisted in meal prep, indoor & outdoor activities, and reading/writing lessons. It was a blast working for Shannon (founder) Find me knitting, reading or watching a show! (I just finished Breaking Bad 10/10) Don't hesitate to reach out- I'm here to help!
