I like tutoring because I want to share my love of math and it is such a rewarding feeling when the student I am tutoring finally gets it, the light bulb turns on, and the expression of excitement and pride on their face makes it all worth it! I started tutoring when I was in high school; after school, I would tutor a group of fifth and sixth graders who were having a tough time academically in their math class. Additionally, when I was in college, I would tutor high school students virtually. In my spare time, I like to hang out with friends, garden, go thrift shopping, and in the winter, I'm an avid skier!
