About Amainaris

I have 8 years of combined professional and personal experience. My experience in child-care started when I was 13 yrs. old working as a camp counselor until I was 18. In college, I spent my time volunteering at local middle/high schools in Holyoke and Amherst, supporting with language interpretation, tutoring, and workshop facilitation. I majored in Educational Policy and Practice as well as Latin American Studies, which has allowed me to work in classroom setting both domestically and internationally. My childcare age ranges from 0-18 years as I have worked in different sectors with all ages. I have worked as a first grade classroom coordinator at a dual language school in Cambridge, MA, I was a program coordinator for a non-profit in Boston where I worked with students ages 12-17. Most recently I moved back from the Dominican Republic where I worked with a close family friend to support het daycare in Santo Domingo (ages 1-3). I also have a 3 yr old brother that I take care of.
