About Andrea Lauren

I am a certified elementary education teacher and I love working with children. I have been a teacher for 7 years, teaching Kindergarten, second, and first grades. When teaching 2nd grade I taught guided reading and my students averaged 1. 6 years of growth within one school year. As a kindergarten teacher of all subjects, my students averaged 1. 7 years of reading growth. I use the common core standards to plan and execute lessons and I am familiar with many different curricula. I think that a child's love of learning comes first, and I work with families to develop a personalized approach for learning. I strive to help all students achieve success and have fun while doing it.
