About Ashley

I would describe my personality as caring, easy-going, and bubbly. I like caring for seniors because in my culture, it is essential to look out for our family and care for our elders. Growing up, I had the blessing of my grandmother's presence every day because she lived with us. Since she has always been "disabled," I have been helping her with tasks like putting on her shoes, getting dressed, & doing her hair from a young age. This upbringing instilled in me the importance of caring for all seniors, leading me to volunteer at local nursing homes in elementary school, participating in activities, & singing Christmas carols. I later became a CNA and worked at a nursing home for 6 years. During my time as a CNA, I made many unforgettable connections. I had the opportunity to care for people physically and positively impact their spiritual and mental health. Connection, respect, and trust are vital, and I always strive to ensure that people feel comfortable and maintain their dignity.
