About Linda

As an older adult who's always been the "original Energizer bunny", I decided to slow my daily pace a bit. Offering help & supports to other seniors is a natural fit; I started my work life as a nurse's aid as a teenager, grew up with grandparents on our home, and served on SeniorsPlus board for 8 years. My undergrad degree is in psych; my Master's is in adult ed. My career has been an eclectic mix of social services and business, which now includes work as an end of life doula. I'm a widow, live with 2 obnoxious dogs, and spend lots of time with my grandchildren. Under "Years of Paid Experience", I listed 10+ years as I've worked extensively in social services for decades including direct care, although most of my work was in management. And though I'm of retirement age, I'm not ready yet! I've been with one senior family since Feb 2022, and others since then including those who were/are in hospice or nursing facilities. The rest live in their own homes.
