About Ava

With over 10 years of experience as a Special Education teacher and caregiver as well as specialized training as a Postpartum Doula, I bring a wealth of knowledge and a nurturing approach to working with families. My diverse background allows me to support children from newborns to young adults, adapting my care to each stage of development. I am here to provide compassionate care and personalized attention to meet your family's needs. I'd describe my personality as friendly, adaptive, organized. I like working with kids because of their natural curiosity and desire to explore the world. I'm looking for a position that offers flexibility in my schedule. I started working with kids when I was 13 years old when I got my first babysitting job. I have since worked at baby consignment stores, preschools, camps, afterschool programs, residential schools and programs. In my spare time I really love to travel and be active by doing yoga and hiking!
