About Dawn

Hello, I'm Dawn, and I bring over 15 years of experience in education as a teacher, coach, and leader. As a passionate advocate for lifelong learning, I'm constantly seeking new knowledge and skills. For 12 years, I had the privilege of teaching English Language Arts to students ranging from grades 6 to 10. My teaching philosophy revolves around making content both relevant and project-based, all while ensuring alignment with the Common Core teaching standards. I have my Secondary English Language Arts Teaching Credentials in both New York and California. In addition, I have my Special Education Credential, so I'm equipped with the necessary skills and expertise to provide a high-quality education tailored to the needs of diverse learners. Outside of work, I love to explore the world through travel, spend quality time with friends and family, stay active. I'm excited about the opportunity to work with you!
