About Elizabeth

I'm Liz (theythem), an MSW student at Loyola University, where I am studying to become a clinical therapist and CADC. This summer, I worked at Hearts to Art summer camp as a clinical counselor. This arts-based summer camp is for children who have lost a parent. I provided group and individual therapy, administrative assistance, and arts education to children between the ages of 6 and 17. I would love to apply these skills with your child on social, educational, and mental health skills to help them flourish. I received my undergraduate BAs in English and French from Indiana University, and I'm also a musician here in Chicago. I am happy to teach guitar, electric bass, or safe vocal technique, or to tutor in either language! You should know: I currently have class from 7:00-9:30 p.m. on M/T/Th. In my spare time, I like to get outside as much as possible. I love the outdoors, reading, crafting, playing/writing music, and spending time with both my cat and my lovely friends. :-)
