About Elizabeth

Hello :) Thank you for taking a moment to learn a little about me! My name is Elizabeth, I am an active 48-year-old and mother to 4 (now adult!) children. I am a former Certified Nursing Assistant that worked both in a long term care facility and client homes. I was responsible for daily personal cares including bathing, dressing, and hygiene along with exercise and physical/occupational therapies. I provided nutrition through meal preparation and assistive eating adhering to any diet restrictions. I also helped with light housekeeping and maintenance of a comforting, safe environment to suit each individual's needs. Believing mental health is aligned with physical health, I engaged my clients in activities they enjoyed: puzzles, card games, etc. I considered what would bring quality to their life experience. My aim was to provide the extension of care a family member would want. I thought of it as companion care and forged many wonderful, heartfelt relationships along the way:)
