You need a caregiver. I can help. Here are some of my qualifications: I am a retired yet healthy & energetic SLP (speech-language pathologist). For over 15 years, I treated 100s of patients with memory loss & dementia, as well as language, speech, hearing, & swallowing problems. - Most of my patients had also had strokes, heart issues, Parkinson's, cancers, brain injuries, misc. surgeries, & wheelchairs or walkers. - I've helped clerks, CEOs, factory workers, housewives, lawyers, truckers, teachers, farmers, MDs, ministers, moms, dads, etc. - My work has been in home health, hospice, independent living, assisted living, sub-acute rehab, hospitals (& as a speech therapist in K-12 schools). - I was Health Care Power of Attorney for my family, & consulted often with doctors, nurses, therapists, etc. at work. - I was a Red Cross instructor. I like history, music, the arts, nature, driving, WI sports, photography, travel, exercise, Chicago, & people. - My parents were my heroes.
