About Laura

Greetings parents! My name is Laura and I have had years of babysitting experience under my belt. I'm 20 years old and started babysitting when I was 11 years old. I'm majoring in Education and hope to one day become an elementary school teacher! I love children and have worked with children from various ages ranging from 1 month babies all the way to 16-year-olds (and in between). I also have a brother with Down Syndrome. I make my own babysitting boxes I bring with me to families. My main goal is to make the children I babysit feel comfortable with me and are able to have an awesome time. You only get to have one childhood so I want to ensure I can help the children I care for stay happy! I like working with kids because I believe children's first years of development are crucial. I remember being little and I can still remember my babysitters who would go above and beyond to make sure I was happy and felt safe. I want to be that babysitter for other kids!
