About Lisa

I am a K-12 licensed teacher. I taught 36 years but am retired. I worked full-time at the middle and high school levels, mainly in Sussex, WI grades 6-8. I have taught, home-schooled, and tutored students throughout my career in all subjects at both the middle and high school levels, especially math, science, communication arts, social studies and reading and am skilled in the latest methods and standards/curriculum. I have the most experience tutoring math from basic to advanced algebra since that is the most frequently requested subject. I regularly taught math in the schools before retirement. I also have extensive experience working with students with special needs and have become proficient at tutoring virtually! I have steadily taught and tutored virtually via video call for the last 4 years, and it has worked out well. I recently helped student prepare for the ACT test and complete online drivers education. I am also willing to meet in person.
