About Maria

I have recently graduated from James Madison University, double majoring in Theatre Education (licensure program) and English Literature with an Honors Interdisciplinary Studies minor. I have four years of experience teaching JMU drama programs for young people ages 6-17 with a focus on ensemble building and creating original work. As a teaching artist, my passion is involving young people in enriching, creative experiences that allow for self expression and interpersonal skill building. In addition, I have experience house sitting, pet sitting, and babysitting (ages 4+). I find myself happiest when I am spending time with young people, and I prioritize safety, kindness, and positivity in all that I do.
