I started caring for and instructing children while still in high school where I took a vocational training course in early childhood care & education. I studied child development and early childhood education in college. I've worked with children and families in rural, urban, and suburban communities as a babysitter, nanny, early childhood teacher, early childhood administrator, site director, Girl Scout volunteer, as well as in foster care, family case management and in elementary school health. I also have a degree in nursing. I love to read and enjoy live theater. You might find me taking photos and spending precious time with my own kiddo.
