About Neil

I believe that everyone in our society deserves an opportunity for a superior quality of life. When I became a special education teacher, I knew I had the ability to help people move forward in their lives so that they could appreciate the wonders of the world we live in. I have helped young children learn to communicate, express their needs, learn curriculum and participate fully in a school environment. I have recently been working with adults 20-35, who have a variety of challenges, teaching them video production skills, and assisting them in making a documentary film that will break down barriers towards people with disabilities. Currently, I work with 3 young men, teaching them communication skills, job/career skills, as well as involvement in community affairs, exploration of the natural environment, and just having a lot of fun. I do this work because I see the benefit that my experience and education brings to people who are most in need.
