About Ruby J

I'm Ruby and am a sophomore at the University of Puget Sound. I am working to become an elementary school teacher with my degree in science. I have been a Babysitter/Nanny for almost 9 years starting at age 11 but am new to Care. com. I have been a swim instructor for both metro parks and currently the Ymca teaching ages 6months-80+years. I have also been an intern in a 3rd grade classroom at one of the local elementary schools and am in my 3rd year of that. During my 1st year of internship I created a STEAM day camp and as of this year it is now apart of the official district curriculum. I also have lots of experience working with neurodivergent and special needs children of all ages and disabilities. I love Taylor Swift, classic rock, science, writing, outside time/adventures, as well as arts and crafts. I am open to cooking and cleaning as I love and enjoy both. I am also First Aid/ CPR certified
