Hello parents and families! I am an FSU and NU grad school alumna, aunt to four nieces/nephews, and experienced babysitter/nanny. In 2019, I was an au pair for several months where I took care of a 5 y/o and an 8 y/o. By the end of my time there, the kids and I had a sibling-like relationship and we still keep in touch today. Most recently, I nannied a 4 y/o and twin 2 y/os twice a week and applied child psychology principles to support them in reaching developmental milestones while helping them express their needs, wants and frustrations constructively. I enjoy playing outside, reading aloud/helping kids learn to read, assisting with homework, supervising pool activities, and playing card games (although, I must admit, I bring my A-game!). I can also help out with running errands, gift-wrapping, housekeeping, and general tidying (I have a knack for organizing). I aim to provide a stable environment in which your child(ren) can feel safe and have fun.

Shannon was fantastic! She formed great relationships with our kids and engaged with them in their play on their level. She primarily watched our 2 year old twins and their 4 year old brother, and they all quickly felt comfortable with her while we were working. She was with our family from September to December 2022. She is moving back home, otherwise we'd love to have her continue to work with us! Shannon is an excellent care giver and she'll take great care of your kids, I highly recommend her!
