Hi! My name is Shirley and I am a mom to two grown boys. I've been happily married to the boy I first met in ninth grade, for 32 years. We have been living in Waxhaw four years now, after moving here from Houston, TX. If you are looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, dependable and fun then look no further! I have worked with children for the past 19 years as a preschool teacher, and have lots of patience and a desire to make things fun! I have experience in caring for children from infants (newborns) to elementary school aged kids. I will treat your children as I've treated my own; with love, kindness, and respect. I will provide appropriate care for your children, and am willing to do additional tasks, if requested. I'm organized, patient, and a multitasker. Shirley has been taking care of our baby boy one day a week and we never want her to leave! Shirley is very dependable and is very responsive to phone calls/texts for scheduling purposes. She is very interactive and keeps our boy entertained throughout the day. Our son lights up when he sees her each week and that is the biggest stamp of approval for us as parents :)
