About Wendy

I am a licensed special education teacher with a Master's degree in special education. Even though my license is in special education, I have tutored students who are traditional learners and do not have disabilities, as well. Most recently, I homeschooled a student for two school years. This included instruction in core academic subjects as well as additional enrichment with art projects, musical activities, and outings throughout the area. I am available to tutor up to grade 8 in all subject areas. I like to bring a vibrant, fun approach to learning. I like to create an environment where the child can be successful, encouraging positive learning habits and fostering a love of learning.
